SIDS & KIDS WA
SIDS & Kids in Western Australia provides loss and grief support
for anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child. That loss
may have occurred at any time from conception to 12 years of age. The service
is free and there is no time limit to the counselling service or to when a
person first contacts SIDS & Kids after the death of the child.
The opportunities for people experiencing grief and reactions to the death of a
child include counselling, support groups, sibling support sessions, country
support volunteers and a library of relevant support/healing techniques
literature.
Geoff Paul provides counselling that is focussed on men’s grief and their needs
in situations following the sudden and unexpected death of a child. Geoff is a
psychologist with wide experience in family and relationships counselling and
the wellbeing of men.
