APPLECROSS MEN'S GROUPWe meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 7.30pm. Please check our website for specific dates as we have breaks coinciding with school terms.
The group use the principles of attitudinal healing as pioneered by Dr Jerry Jampolsky some 30 years ago. The confidential nature of the group allows for sharing and discussion on a whole range of subjects which affect our ability to function in this modern world.
There is no pressure to speak or share if one does not want to, feel free to come along and just listen if that is your need. This is not a religious based group, however the 12 principles found on our website are universal to making our lives easier to cope with and what’s more important enjoy. The objective is to provide tools by which we can find our own best answers to any problem or block which may arise.
This is a self help group that mainly talks about life in general with some presentations on issues that affect the men and or local agencies come into speak. This group started in March 2009.
This is not a Church Men’s Group as such – about 50% are Church members and 50% are not involved with the Church. The hall is made available to the group free of charge, therefore, the attendees are not required to make any financial contribution at this stage.
