Time and Stress Management in the Workplace
Start Date/Time: Thursday, 25 March 2010 9:30 AM
End Date/Time: Thursday, 25 March 2010 4:30 PM
Recurring Event: One time event
Importance: Normal Priority
Description:
This workshop is ALL ABOUT YOU!
Learn how to IMPROVE your work performance and REDUCE stress to
achieve your work-life BALANCE.
Most of us spend 3 hours each day dealing with interruptions, 3 hours each
week looking for things on our desk and 11 hours a week in meetings while
managing 600% more information than we managed 20 years ago. Our
leisure time has decreased by 32% and 81% of managers suffer stress at
least once per week!
Time Management training is ideal for anyone who has countless tasks
demanding their attention and who needs to juggle conflicting priorities.
Learn to improve planning, set goals and feel more in control of your work
load.
Stress Management Training is especially important for those working in the
Community Sector, as there is a high-risk for job stress with negative
consequences for both the individual and the organisation. The literature
indicates there is strong evidence that work organisation factors can predict
adverse health and other outcomes. There is also significant evidence that
various stress prevention or intervention strategies have demonstrated
effectiveness in the prevention or control of work-related stress.
