Wednesday 24th March, Mt Lawley Golf Club
4.15pm—6.00pm (followed by a complimentary dinner)
SDERA’s first professional learning seminar for 2010 will be presented by
Peter Palamara, Research Fellow, from the Curtin-Monash Accident
Research Centre (C-MARC). Peter has over 20 years experience in road
safety research, with a particular interest in the area of young drivers and risk
taking behaviour.
The seminar will focus on:
• why some young drivers are more inclined to take risks on the roads and elsewhere
• preventive measures - protective measures already in place and those yet to be introduced
• initiatives that work for this ‘at risk’ group.
SDERA’s Professional Learning Seminars are opportunities for school-based staff
and interested community agency personnel to find out more about current issues
that face the youth of today and are a chance to network with other professionals.
Places are limited, register early to secure your place in this
FREE seminar!
