Meerilinga Young Children’s Services Inc is pleased to announce the next Working with Dads training session.
The purpose of the training is to enable staff in family services to better engage and involve fathers, thereby strengthening children.s relationships with them.
Key topics and issues of the training course include:
recent research about dads and services – how are they currently interacting? * perceptions and behaviours – of dads and of our own as staff * communication with fathers * marketing to fathers * creating an action plan to become more „dad friendly. * The Working with Dads training session is a component of the Dads in the Early Years service. Session times: 9.00am – 3.30 pm, Thu 25 March 2010
